ORTOVOX beschermt. Dit leidende principe stond ook centraal bij de ontwikkeling van onze FREERIDER: De afdalingsrugzak voor freeriders heeft een SPS FLEX RUGBESCHERMER, die het rugsysteem en de beschermer combineert tot EEN FLEXIBELE EENHEID. De TÜV-gecertificeerde beschermer is gemaakt van ACHT PADS die zelfs in de kou comfortabel flexibel blijven en past zich aan het lichaam aan en absorbeert schokken. We gebruiken SAS-TEC beschermend schuim. Na uiterlijke krachtsinspanningen keert DIT VISCO-ELASTISCHE schuim snel terug naar zijn oorspronkelijke vorm. In tegenstelling tot andere dempingsmaterialen IS het ook BESTAND TEGEN MEERDERE SCHOKKEN (schokken vernietigen de beschermers niet) en is het zelfs ontvankelijk voor kleine krachttoepassingen.
