What kind of tent do you take with you on a sup? A tent for a sup trip is a lightweight tent that is not too big or too heavy and preferably with reliable aluminium poles so that you can set it up again and again without problems. The size of your tent package and the type of tent you choose is a trade-off between comfort, pack size and weight. Consider, for example, whether you can use extra awning space for drying or cooking in your wet suits. The smaller your waterproof bags for your gear, the lighter and smaller the tent you choose. A standard lightweight tent has an outer fabric of around 75D (D = denier and stands for thickness of the outer fabric) made of polyester.
